Late Louis XVI-early Directoire period sash desk in mahogany and speckled mahogany veneer, highlighted with fillets, opening with two glass-backed leaves, a drawer, a flap revealing an interior of drawers and pigeonholes, and three drawers, resting on four small tapered legs. Copper-decorated, fluted, rounded jambs topped with brackets, sabots, framing rods, key escutcheons and brass drop hands. Height: cm - Length: cm Depth: 40 cm. (cracks, accidents and lifts)
