Germany, 20th century. Fine replica percussion pistol for black powder shooting signed "SIBER A LAUSANNE" manufactured by "Waffenschmiede Im Zeughaus Überlingen". Cal. 33. Serial no. 992. Bronzed octagonal rifled barrel, with sight and rear sight, signed "SIBER A LAUSANNE" on the upper side. Case-hardened percussion lock with small chased decoration. All screw heads blued; finely checkered walnut stock. Finger rest trigger guard. Functional mechanism with two clear cocking notches. The inside of the barrel mirror with good scratches. Spare mantelpiece present. 39.5 cm (barrel 25 cm). (Very good condition). It comes in a brown leatherette cloth-covered wooden case, the lid decorated with the manufacturer's logo and markings "Waffenschmiede Im Zeughaus Überlingen". The compartmented interior is lined with wine-colored felt. 41.5 x 18 x 5 cm. (Wear and minor wear. Fairly good condition).
