All metal parts in original lightened bronze. 3'' 1/2 barrel, marked on top and on two lines "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. PAT'D OCT. 24. 1899. AUG. 14. 1900. OCT. 8. 1901." and on the left side "22. S & W. CT". 1st model revolver with cylinder release plunger on left side of frame. Recessed cylinder. The left side of the frame is marked "S & W" Trade Mark. Trigger under trigger guard. Black ebonized grips with "S & W" logo. Functional single- and double-action mechanism with a clean, play-free cocking notch. The inside of the barrel is clean with good scratches. Complete. Enclosed is a certificate of authenticity from "AUX ARMES D'ANTAN" dated May 2012. (Patina of time. Good condition). Weapon classified in CAT D2 of the decree n° 2018-542 of June 29, 2018, confirmed by the decree of August 29, 2023, free to acquire and hold.
