It comes in a burgundy leather-wrapped box, the lid inscribed "LEGION D'HONNEUR COMMANDEUR" in gilded brass, with no maker's mark. (As is). 9.2 x 6.2 cm. - Officer's star of the Legion of Honor. Enameled vermeil, luxury model, boar's head hallmark, gold centers. Complete with ribbon and rosette. Missing the center of the recto, accidents to the white enamel of the points, the blue of the center and the green of the foliage.
