Black horn spindle with brass filigree. The top is carved with vegetal motifs and rosettes. The bow ends in a rolled quillon. Scarlet wool tie. White blade with small traces of superficial oxidation in places, flat-backed and hollow pan with "Manufacture de Klingenthal Coulaux & Cie" marking on the back. Black leather scabbard with three gilded brass fittings and two suspension rings. Comes with its original knotted junior officer's lanyard, the gold metal wires oxidized. 91 cm (Blade 77 cm).
