France, Louis-Philippe (1830-1848). Fine pair of two-barrel tabletop percussion pistols signed "DUBOUT A METZ". Cal. 14 mm. All metal parts white. Round rifled damascus barrels. Breech tail chased with scrolls. Scroll-chased percussion rear locks, signed "DEBOUT" for two and "A METZ" for the other two. Triggers under bridges with finger rests decorated en suite. Renaissance-style burr-walnut crossbones with steel caps forming reserves with primers. Original steel nailhead rods. Functional two-notch cocking mechanisms, clean and play-free. Inside of barrels clean. 31.5 cm (barrels 16 cm). (Good condition).
