France, Louis-Philippe (1830-1848). Oriental-style saber. Fused brass stock frame, hilt, basane-covered wooden spindle, chain guard, diamond-shaped tangs and olive-finished straight quillons. Scarlet wool tie. Curved blade with slight gray patina, hollow front and flat back. Brass scabbard with two suspension rings and bracelets decorated with lion's heads, the asymmetrical lyre-shaped stinger (Good saber, in its original condition. Good state of preservation). 87 cm (Blade 75.3 cm).
