Picquet, s.d., large folding map 182 x 187 folded to in-4 format, contours enhanced in color, in leaves, canvas covered. Spectacular map of political Europe after the Congress of Vienna, and the collapse of the Napoleonic system. Pierre Lapie (1777-1850) belonged to the corps of geographic engineers, and had just been appointed director of Louis XVIII's topographic cabinet.
