Silver REFRESHING BASKET (800), 19th century. It stands on a circular pedestal decorated with wide striations. The flared body in the shape of a baluster vase is decorated in the swollen part with mythological scenes showing Neptune riding a chariot harnessed to dolphins on one side and horses on the other, with his trident. The side handles are formed by two double-tailed mermaids. The upper part is decorated with assorted palmette cartouches on a lattice background. The rim is molded with crossed ribbon fillets. Height 28.5 cm - Weight : 2070 g.
