Mauser, Inf. weight mod. 71 Cal. 11,15x60R M71, SN. 2922, not matching numbered, assembled from parts. Rough barrel. Manufactured 1875, div. imperial acceptance marks. Troop stamp "17.R.7.215". Barrel with fittings and butt cap polished and finely pitted in some places. Case marked "Gebrüder Mauser Oberndorf" with inspection and acceptance stamp. Brass trigger guard. Light walnut stock, stripped and newly varnished. Cleaning rod and both sling swivels. Can be considerably improved by careful cleaning.
