A US American Allin Conversion Model 1866 "Trapdoor" Rifle, Short Barrel Model Cal. .50-70Gov, SN. 861, rifled barrel with matte bore, barrel length 83.5 cm, adjustable sights on top. Barrel and breech block numbered "861". Breech block with side release lever, inscribed on top with the year "1869/Adler/U.S.". Modified percussion lock, on the lock plate year "1863" and maker "Adler/U.S. Springfield". Full stock with iron furniture. Iron ramrod. Metal parts patinated, stock spotted and bumped in places as well as with defects in the area of the barrel bedding, repaired butt stock neck break. Length 132 cm.
