Two Austrian cadet rifles, Augustin system, similar to M 1838/42 Smooth bore barrels in 14 mm caliber, on the breeches maker "G.Bentz", on the tangs numbers "55" and "98" respectively. Augustin system locks, the lock plates with the year "(1)853", the cocks with screwed-on rectangular, slightly wedge-shaped firing faces. Full stocks with brass furniture. One ramrod incorrectly replaced, the other missing, as are the springs for the Laukart bayonet mount. Iron parts spotted and patinated, stocks sanded, one trigger guard and trigger loose. Heavy, various signs of age and use. Condition: III - IV

Vintage matte-finish 12.5 x 10.5 presentation photo of Two Guns White Calf and five other Native American chiefs greeting three gentlemen in suits and a woman wearing a fur coat, the lower dedication box is inscribed “To Princess Guiding Star,” and is signed by Two Guns White Calf in black ink with his three-character pictogram of two rifles and a horned calf; the box also appears to bear glyphic signatures of other Native American chiefs. In fine condition, with some light silvering to the darker areas of the image.

FOUQUET (Attributed to), Circa 1880-1900 - Hairpin in blond horn with a knot motif set in 18K (750°/00) gold and silver (above 800°/00), entirely covered with rose-cut diamonds. The motif is hinged at the base and can be detached (see below). Number 27293 on the rose gold back. In its case - most probably original - sheathed in burgundy chagrin on the outside and cream silk on the inside, signed Fouquet 35 Avenue de l'Opéra 1er étage, Paris. Below the velvet-covered inner base are two slots on ivory moire to hold the accessories needed to transform the pin into a motif: an 18K (750°/00) gold frame and a screwdriver with steel blade and turned ivory handle (DREAL declaration receipt supplied). Max. length: 11.5 cm. Total gross weight (with system): 10.81 g.
