Martini-Henry, Mod. Mk IV/1 Cal. .577/.450Martini, SN. 12496, rough barrel, length 84.5 cm. Stepped frame sights scaled 5 - 13. Drop block bolt. Marked on right side of lock case "Krone/ V.R. / Enfield / 1887 / IV / 1.". Various acceptance marks, "WD", broad arrow. Complete original finish partially minimally spotted. Dark walnut stock. Various acceptance marks on right side of butt stock, broad arrow inscribed with "Madras Arsenal", Indian marks on left side, three lines "IVI / II / 1908" on top. Both sling swivels with leather strapping. Discharge stock. Very good condition. Length 124 cm.
