Lee- Metford Rifle Cal. .303Brit, SN. 1336, not matching numbers. Slightly rough, seven-groove rifled barrel. Barrel length 53.5 cm. German proof mark 6.1971. On left side of stock base marked "Krone / V.R. / ENFIELD /1894" and "Krone/E.R./ ENFIELD/1903". Underneath "L.E.C. II*. Magazine for 5 cartridges and magazine release. Original finish partially spotted, wear marks. Two-piece walnut stock with wear marks. Brass butt stock with flap to cleaning compartment. In the cleaning compartment the rare brass oil bottle with acceptance stamp. Brass patchbox and sling swivel missing. Enclosed bayonet with leather scabbard, Wilkinson London.
