Description

A British blunderbuss, conversion of a "Brown Bess" musket Barrel widened to form a funnel at the muzzle, acceptance marks on the left above the breech. Converted percussion lock, acceptance mark and inscription "Tower" on the lock plate. Full stock with brass furniture. Iron ramrod. Butt stock replaced on the underside, iron parts patinated and slightly pitted in places. Length 93 cm. Condition: II -
