A Belgian Lefaucheux revolver, Loron system circa 1865 Cal. 11mmFrzOrd, SN. 599, matching numbers. Six-shot. Barrel shortened from 160 mm to 155 mm with matte bore. Stamp "Paris" on left side of frame under serial number, on right side "Perrin & Cie/Bte". Bead front sight. Metal parts in original, white finish, lightly spotted and finely pitted. Waffled walnut grip with signs of age and use. Lanyard hole. Mechanically in good order. Double action only. Length approx. 29 cm. Rarity. A similar weapon with serial number 422 is pictured and described in the book by Rolf H. Müller "Geschichte und Technik der europäischen Militärrevolver Band 1" page 266.
