A Mod. 1894 carbine, FN Herstal Cal. 8x57JS, SN. A3354, not matching numbered. Barrel somewhat rough. German proof mark. On receiver Brazilian national coat of arms and marked "ESTADOS UNIDOS DO BRASIL" and "Fabrique Nationale / Herstal-Liège". Original finish. Lock finished in white. Dark brown walnut stock (reworked) with usage marks. Cleaning rod missing. Length 95 cm.
