Auguste VIGNOTTI, École polytechnique 1840-1841 [collection of student works]. 1 vol. in folio: 45 plates on Hollande paper, i.e.: 32 plates of geometry, shading, stereotomy, 4 plates of watercolor carpentry, 2 of which double, 1 plate of calligraphy, 5 plates of watercolor topography, 1 of which double, 3 plates of architecture in wash and shading, folded over the edges. Bound in rubbed brown half calf with a red chagrin label bearing the author's name and the dates "1840-41" on the upper board. Collection of course drawings in the same vein as numbers 5, 7 and 10, the teachers having since changed.
