A Tranter revolver by Cogswell & Harrison, London, ca. 1885 Cal. .320Long, SN. 30878, five-shot. Barrel with bright bore, length 77 mm. British proof mark. Two-line company inscription "Cogswell & Harrison/Strand London" on barrel. Complete original finish, small corroded areas on frame and frame bridge. Fold-out case ejector on the side. Hammer and trigger ready for use, spotted. Finely chequered walnut grip with signs of age and use. DA function defective. Length approx. 20.5 cm.
