Pin-fire revolver by Kirschbaum, Solingen, ca. 1870 Cal. 12mm pin-fire, SN. 7205, pitted barrel, length 16 cm. 6-shot cylinder. SA/DA. Bead sight inserted in barrel. Rear sight as notch in hammer. Side-mounted ejector. Loading flap on the right. Folding trigger. Barrel, frame and cylinder marked "18". Cylinder marked with Kirschbaum mark (helmet in circle). On right side of barrel base "C.R/Kirschbaum/Solingen", on top "12mm" under Prussian eagle above "SP" (Solinger). Eagle above "SP" (Solingen proof), on the left "Sme Lefaucheux". Beautiful vine engraving on frame and cylinder. Remnants of original high gloss finish on cylinder and frame, the rest bright, spotted. Walnut grip panels with chequering, fluted butt. Good timing.
