Repeating rifle Mod. 98, with Docter sight Cal. 9,3x62, SN. 242138, bright bore, length 46 cm. Escape sights with white marked rear sight and red front sight. Mauser M 98 action. Complete bluing of all metal parts. Dry standing shotgun trigger. Dark walnut stock with pistol grip, German cheek piece and chequering. Distance trigger - center butt cap 36 cm. Two sling swivels at the muzzle and on the side of the butt stock. A Docter red dot sight mounted on the receiver by means of a swivel mount (function not checked). Includes red cloth rifle sling. Total length 99 cm. Weapon is designed as a tracing rifle. S. unleserlich gestempelt, die ersten 50 S. mit schwächer werdendem Feuchtigkeitsfleck, nur vereinzelt mit blassbraunen Fleckchen. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten. With some woodcut vignettes a. initials. Cont. vellum binding in modern cardboard slipcase (somewhat stronger scuffed, rubbed a. stained, with small cover defects). - Rare, only 3 copies listed by Worldcat - Currently for us not verifiable in international trade. - Somewhat browned due to paper, 1st page illegible stamped, the first 50 pp. with weakening dampstain, only isolated with pale brown spots. Altogether very well preserved.
