A German pinfire revolver by Heinrich Riffelmann in Solingen, circa 1860 Cal. 12mm pinfire, SN. 14458, rifled barrel, bore somewhat rough, length 14.5 cm, at barrel root stamped "Probirt R" as well as caliber and marked "Sme. Lefaucheux". Six-shot cylinder. Side loading flap, pivoting case ejector. Folding trigger. Cylinder, barrel and frame with heavily rubbed and patinated finish. Walnut grip panels with partial chequering. Lanyard ring. Signs of age and use. Length 26.5 cm. (1491-1547) erstellt und wurde von Battista Agnese (ca. 1500-1564) geschaffen. Er gilt als einer der versiertesten und produktivsten Kartographen des 16. Jahrhunderts und erhielt zahleiche Aufträge für Atlanten von europäischen Herrschern, wie auch 1542 vom englischen König Heinrich VIII.
