A German 12 shot pinfire revolver by Heinrich Riffelmann in Solingen, ca. 1860 Cal. 9mmLefaucheux, SN. 9965, rifled barrel, somewhat dull bore, length 14,5 cm, on barrel root eagle stamp "S.P." (= Solingen proof) as well as caliber and marked "Sme. Lefaucheux". 12-shot, engraved cylinder. Side loading flap, pivoting case ejector. Frame engraved en suite. Folding trigger. Cylinder blued, barrel and frame patinated gray. Smooth walnut grip panels. Signs of age and use. Length 26 cm.
