A postwar Colt 1851 Navy percussion revolver, USA, ca. 1970 Cal. .36(BlackPowder), SN. 17497, matching numbers. Six-shot. 7½ barrel with bright bore. On the barrel company name "Address Saml. Colt New-York City", on left side of frame "Colts Patent". The cylinder with roll engraving "Sea battle scene Texas/Mexico". Barrel and cylinder highly polished blued, usage marks. Loading press, frame and hammer color case hardened. Silver-plated, patinated grip frame. Medium brown smooth walnut grip panels with light usage marks. Impact marks on revolver pommel due to improper handling. Single action only. Mechanically in good order. Length approx. 34 cm. In older wooden case with various repro accessories, dimensions 42x21x5cm.
