Description
A pair of German percussion pistols by Johann Rieger in Munich, circa 1850 Rifled octagonal barrels of Damascus steel in 12.5 mm caliber, bores slightly rough and in need of cleaning, patent breechblocks and blades with vine engraving, each numbered "2767". Percussion locks also with vine engraving and marked "Rieger" and "München" in silver (one lock defective). Half stocks with trigger guards engraved en suite as well as chequering and white bronze inlays in the grips. One forearm cracked. Length 34 cm each. Condition: II - III
