Description

A cased pair of English percussion pistols, circa 1810 Smooth bore barrels in 15 mm caliber, bores in need of cleaning, marked "Warrington" on top, gold band and dot inlays on the breeches. Converted, lightly engraved percussion locks with sliding safeties, the lock plates also with gold band inlays and gold-inlaid medallions, each inscribed "Tubman" (one plastered). Full stocks with iron furniture engraved en suite, grips with silver medallions and the monogram "RR". Wooden ramrods with horn tips. All parts zaponiered, one butt stock nose damaged. Signs of age and use. Length 33 cm each. In a case lined with green velvet, containing a powder flask, cleaning rod, bullet mould and screwdriver. All with various signs of age and use. Dimensions 38 x 35 x 7 cm. Condition: II - III
