Description

A pair of French percussion pistols, circa 1760 Smooth bore barrels in 13.4 mm caliber, barrel ribs with brass front sights on top, lightly engraved over the breeches and on the tangs. Converted percussion locks, each engraved on the lock plates (one lock defective). Slightly carved full stocks with horn nose caps and finely decorated hunting furniture in relief. Ramrods with bone tips. Iron parts cleaned and with fine pitting in the area of the pistol socket. One pistol with a crack in the area of the trigger, the other with a defect over the pommel cap. Length 36 cm each. Condition: III +
