A Latvian flintlock pistol by I. A. Wadt in Jelgava, circa 1760 Smooth bore barrel in 13.5 mm caliber, brass front sight on top, divided by two balusters above the breech, lightly engraved tang. Flintlock with cambered lock plate, signed on it. Beautifully carved full stock with horn nose cap, finely engraved brass furniture with mascarons, lock side plate decorated with hunting dogs. Wooden ramrod with horn tip. Length 37 cm. Condition: II -
