A French pocket flintlock pistol, circa 1750 Screw barrel, round and cannon shaped 55 mm barrel with rifled bore in 11 mm caliber. Iron flintlock with heavily plastered gunsmith's signature, iron furniture made en suite. Metal parts finely pitted with remnants of decorative engraving. Walnut half stock with heavy signs of age and use. The back of the butt stock with fine silver wire inlays (flaws). Various screws replaced. Mechanics of the lock interior not checked for originality. Mechanically in good order. Length approx. 18 cm. Condition: III -

A VERY SCARCE .28 PERCUSSION MANHATTAN FIREARMS THREE-SHOT PEPPERBOX POCKET PISTOL, serial no. 74, circa 1856, with moulded 3in. three-shot barrel cluster with traces of a 'CAST STEEL' mark, vertical nipple-wells, rounded boxlock scroll engraved action with hand indexing, bar-hammer with traces of make and address, walnut bag-shaped grips and guarded trigger, lightly cleaned of finish.

A 50-BORE PERCUSSION BOXLOCK POCKET PISTOL WITH SPRUNG BAYONET, SIGNED 'G.M.', no visible serial number, Belgian circa 1840, with false damascus octagonal 3 1/2in. turn-off barrel, folding sprung bayonet beneath with 2 5/8in. blade of triangular form released via the over-sized trigger guard bow and also acting as a turn-off lever, borderline and open scroll engraved Liege proved central hammer action, marked 'G.M.' together with a crown and the numeral '1' below the breech and chequered walnut bag-shaped grip with scallop-carved head panels.
