A heavy German flintlock rifle, circa 1740 Heavy, rifled octagonal barrel in 19 mm caliber, bore rough and in need of cleaning, dovetailed front sight and rear sight on top. Smooth flintlock, set trigger, pan replaced(?), lock action defective. Carved full stock with bone nose cap and brass furniture. Wooden ramrod with bone tip. Iron parts cleaned and pitted in places, stock with signs of age, forearm with repairs and replacements, inlays on the butt cheek piece missing, some wormholes. Length 128 cm. Condition: III
