Description

A flintlock pistol, Ottoman Empire, 18th century Edged 325 mm barrel merging to round with a smooth bore in 18 mm caliber. Stripped, bright barrel surface with pitting. Lightly decorated iron flintlock. Damaged, partially broken brass furniture with remnants of the original silver plating. Iron collar at the muzzle replaced in old times, heavily reworked and damaged. Carved wooden stock with heavy signs of age and use. Pseudo ramrod. Mechanically in good order, lock interior not checked for completeness or originality. Length 50 cm. Probably originally France, around 1780. Condition: III -
