Description
The estate of Officer Karl Spratten - his lion's head sabre, medals, a glass Lion's head sabre with beautifully preserved, nickel-plated blade (Hörster mark), non-ferrous metal hilt in relief (somewhat deformed) with lion's head pommel (two red glass eyes), the bearer's initials "KS" on the guard lobe, black plastic grip (flaws) and wire winding (loose), attached lanyard with leather strap (silver bands partly replaced by cloth), nickel-plated steel scabbard (length 97 cm). Patriotic glass with gold rim (height 15 cm), on it the profiles of Franz Joseph I and Franz Ferdinand. Photo portrait of the wearer, worked into a silver-plated brooch (diameter 25 mm) with pearl trimming. Bavarian Cross of Military Merit 1st class with crown and swords and Iron Cross 2nd class, both reproductions (2nd half of the 20th century). Partially slightly damaged, signs of age.
