A small-sword for Imperial officials and diplomats, circa 1900 Straight, strong single-edged blade, the stamped Wolfsangel mark (Solingen) on the obverse side, the etched supplier's signature "G. Laute Berlin" on the back, rich decorative etching with tendrils and trophies on both sides. Heavy, multi-piece hilt of non-ferrous metal in rich relief (grip and guard plate loose) with eagle's head pommel, imperial eagle with imperial crown on the guard plate and beautiful mother-of-pearl grip scales. Signs of use and age. Length 96.5 cm. Very representative. Condition: II
