Großröhrsdorf established itself as a location for ribbon weaving as early as the 17th century. The present collection contains a wide range of patterns in various colors and techniques, including numerous woven stripe patterns and embroidered floral ornaments. The pages of the 5 canvas volumes are framed in ornamental gold-embossed borders. The cardboard album from 1912 is arranged chronologically from January to December and contains detailed handwritten annotations. Another volume contains a mounted lithographic detail with an illustration of the factory in Grossröhrsdorf and the title "Mechanische Weberei baumwoll. & wollner figurirte Gurte, Doppelgurte & Hosenträger".
