A sabre M 1852 of the Magdeburg Train Battalion No. 4, circa 1900 Nickel-plated, slightly curved single-edged blade (spotted, partially pitted), the upper half richly etched on both sides, with the blued cartouche "Magdeb. Train Battalion No. 4.". Hilt with nickel-silver basket, nickel-plated iron grip back, cover of the wooden grip missing. Steel scabbard (traces of nickel plating, dents) with two movable suspension rings. Partially damaged, signs of age. Length 102 cm. Condition: III
