Description

A sword for officers of the infantry, 18th century Assembled from old pieces. Sharp, double-edged blade (pitted, probably somewhat shortened) with a flattened central ridge. Brass knuckle-bow hilt with symmetrical kidney-shaped guard plates, grip with brass wire winding and round, urn-shaped pommel. Slightly damaged, signs of age. Length 83 cm. Condition: II - III
