A Bavarian flagpole, probably from a warrior's club, 19th century Non-ferrous metal, gilt (rubbed). Fully sculpted rising lion with crown, sword and shield, on the oval shield the applied crowned ruler's cipher "L" for King Ludwig I or Ludwig II. Four replaced knurled screws on the sides of the base, sword blade missing. Signs of use and age. Height 29 cm. Condition: II - III
