General Karl Ritter von Martini (1855 - 1935) - a silver cup as 1st prize of the Brigade Race 1913 Silver, the base hallmarked "800", crescent, crown and "Wetzlar München". Cup with protruding lip, the front engraved with an aristocratic coat of arms with bird and arrow under a crest, the base engraved "I. Preis Brigade-Rennen 1913 gegeben v. Exllz. von Martini kom. General II. b. A. K.". Signs of use and age. Height 15.3 cm, weight 332 g. From 5.8.1909 to 21.4.1912 Karl von Martini commanded the 6th Division in Regensburg as a Bavarian lieutenant general. Martini then became commanding general of the II Army Corps and was promoted to general of infantry at the same time. He retained this position even after the outbreak of the First World War. He was awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of the Bavarian Crown for his services in 1909. Condition: II
