Description

A czapka for uhlan troopers, similar to M 1873 Assembled from original parts. Stiff, black lacquered leather body, gold-plated brass emblem "L" fixed by leather wedges under the crown (probably from a gendarmerie helmet), inserted crew cockade of white-blue cloth. Leather sweatband with sewn-on chinstrap. Inner lining of the skull subsequently lined with new black felt. Incomplete, partially slightly damaged, clear signs of age. Condition: II
