Also an envelope addressed by Benedek himself to Captain von Vivenot. Also a letter from Benedek's wife Julie to von Vivenot. Also two letter fragments and envelopes, including Benedek's question as to whether he should take the physician's son Vivenot into his regiment as captain, plus two letters from von Benedek's wife Julie. In new folders with detailed information on the documents. Partly damaged, signs of age and use. Benedek was an important Austrian field commander of Hungarian nationality. He commanded the imperial army in the Battle of Königgrätz against the Prussian army in 1866. Condition: II
