A sabre M 1869 for cavalry troopers Heavy, slightly curved single-edged blade (darkened, stained) with a fuller on the obverse side (fullers on the reverse side) and a double-edged central point, stamped at the root with "Jung", "Wn 78" and a double-headed eagle. Iron basket hilt with two sabre slots and seven holes in the heart-shaped guard plate, wooden grip (small defects) with remnants of chequering. Attached brown sling. Heavy iron scabbard (spotted) with a rigid suspension ring and riding loop, with a leather suspension ring attached. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Worn sabre with uniform patina. Length 103 cm. Condition: II - III
