A mounted artillery sabre M 1829 Sturdy blade with fullers on both sides, on the back the maker's signature Manufacturer's signature "Manufre Impale de Chatellerault 9bre 1849" (somewhat worn). Brass knuckle-bow hilt (darkened, various acceptance and number stamps on the knuckle-bow), leather-covered grip, brass wire winding. Iron scabbard (zaponiered) with two movable suspension rings. Reworked, signs of use and age. Length 98 cm. Condition: II -
