A sabre M 1822 for light cavalry troopers Sturdy single-edged blade with fullers on both sides (traces of rust), the maker's signature of Chatelleraut 1882 etched on the back. Brass knuckle-bow hilt with two fullers, the knuckle-bow stamped "1345", grip with leather sheath (flaw) and wire winding. Heavy iron scabbard (rusty, occasional dents) with a movable suspension ring. Signs of use and age. Length 110 cm. Worn, genuine piece. Condition: III
