A cavalry officer's sabre, circa 1760/70 Slender, fullered single-edged blade with double-edged point, above the base one third with openwork, gilt and with triple fullers on a blued ground. Iron hilt with heart-shaped guard plate and knuckle bow with side guard on the obverse. Leather grip with loosened brass wire wrap. Length 101.5 cm. Blade and hilt slightly stained/rust-coated. Rare.
