A Military Merit Cross 2nd Class with war decoration and inscription Silver, enamelled on both sides. Two hallmarks on the loop, including the greyhound head. "R. Marschall" engraved on the narrow edge of the lower cross arm. The inscription "26./7. Monte San Michele 1915" on the back of the medallion. Comes with a white and red neck ribbon, 5 cm wide. The enamel chipped in places, particularly on the back (cross arms). Signs of age and wear. Width 40 mm, weight 31 g. A rare find. Condition: II
