Description
A German hunting sabre, 2nd half of the 18th century Slightly curved single-edged blade (rusty) with double-edged point, fullered on both sides and decorated with hunting motifs. Decorated brass hilt (obverse guard plate missing), spirally grooved, green stag horn grip (cracks, small defect), engraved brass cap on the pommel. In a later brass-studded leather scabbard with carrying knob and integrated chape. Partially damaged, signs of age. Length 72.5 cm. Condition: III
