Description
A Swiss campaign sword with lion head pommel, 17th century Double-edged blade with a lenticular cross-section. S-shaped curved quillons with chiselled floral decoration. A guard ring on the obverse side, a sturdy thumb ring with a small guard plate on the reverse side. Replaced grip with fine iron wire winding over leather cover. Cut pommel in the shape of a lion's head. Length 96 cm. Decorative weapon assembled from old parts. Condition: II
