A German campaign sword, 2nd half of the 17th century Double-edged thrusting blade of rhombic cross-section, narrow fullers on both sides of the upper third. Large, pierced guard plates on both sides, damaged in places. Iron knuckle-bow hilt, grip with iron wire winding and iron ferrules. Iron pear pommel. Length 102.5 cm. Condition: II -
