A German left pauldron in Gothic style, historicism, 19th century Large, six-fold movable shoulder with a strong central ridge. The rear wing with a fan-shaped quadruple fillet. The upper clasp broken in the middle. The old leather covering partially damaged, attached strap of chamois leather with iron buckle. Dark age patina with oil residue, in need of cleaning. Height 23 cm. Very good plated work of early historicism. Provenance: Formerly in the collection of the kings of Hanover, Marienburg Castle. Condition: II - III
