A Japanese hotoke do, late Edo period Do of numerous riveted, horizontal iron sequences, the surface in brownish-black lacquer. Six attached kusazuri, each with a fivefold slide in blue binding. Lacquer mount with cracks and losses, textile parts somewhat stained, faded and worn in places. Height of the do 46 cm. Condition: III +
